In order to make African cinema available to wider audiences, particularly in places where there are limited opportunities to view African films, AFF programs the annual National Traveling Series, which travels to cities in the US and Puerto Rico. The package consists of short and feature films for an affordable flat fee. Screenings are scheduled throughout the year by cultural institutions, museums, and universities as well as in libraries and community centers. Whenever possible, screenings are followed by a Q&A with filmmakers, actors or scholars from the community, allowing for lively discussions and exchange.
