Dr. Sheila S. Walker joins Howard Dodson, Jr. in a conversation about Dr. Walker's work in charting cultural continuities in the global African diaspora.

About the Speakers: Sheila S. Walker, PhD, cultural anthropologist and documentary filmmaker, has done fieldwork, lectured, and participated in intellectual and cultural events in most of Africa and the Global African Diaspora, and her goal is to educate the public about this diaspora.

Howard Dodson, Jr. is the Director Emeritus of Howard University Libraries and former director of the New York Public Library Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture.
